Does everyone have Braxton Hicks before actual labor?

I think I had them one day last week. I don't remember having them with my first two children. It's been a long time tho. I have an 18 and 11 year old. Just wanna see if it's a mandatory thing??

Never got them with my first and then my water just broke at 38w. This one I got braxton hicks early on.

I've been having BH for nearly 2 months and am now 38 weeks. Other women I talk to it seems 50/50 they get them or not

I'm on my 3rd baby and can't really remember getting them with first two but I've been having them since 16 weeks mildly, I'm 39 weeks now and they've been so so strong for the past 4 weeks I keep thinking I'm going into labour but it's just false alarms.. 
I've been put on a monitor with my midwife and there going off the scale on the contraction machine but there not close enough to be the real thing?! 😳😰
Cant wait for my body to feel normal again it's been a rough pregnancy x

In the other hand I have had BH for 4 weeks now and no sign of labor coming, I'm 37.3 weeks now.

I don't remember getting them with my first.  I thought my actual contractions were BH because they started off so mild, that's the first time I remember feeling anything like a contraction.  Believe me, I'd remember, I was 20 and would have assumed any contraction was labor haha
