I absolutely positively hate breastfeeding. Baby girl is 4 weeks old and I'll be lucky if we make it to 6 weeks. She hasn't been sleeping, so I'm exhausted. I'm also a single parent so handing her off to someone else for a feeding is impossible. My boobs hurt and trying to get her to eat for any length of time is difficult because she falls asleep. The second I take her off to put her in her cradle she's wide awake and wants food. We do this cycle endlessly. We've been seeing a lactation consultant for 3 weeks and she said baby was tongue tied. She has her 1 month appointment Wednesday and we'll see what her pediatrician says. But I'm so over breastfeeding...it's painful and time consuming and this momma needs sleep...
