Wait until at least 10 DPO, but ideally after you miss your period.

If you want to be 100% sure that your not testing too early then wait till you miss your period. Early testing and disappointment come hand in hand because not everyone produces HCG at the same rate. Some women find out at 7dpo some women don't find out until 14 dpo. It all depends on when you want to test! I always did early testing and if I got a negative I shrugged it off at testing too early. But when I got my BFP at 7 Dpo I was thrilled!
