Acupuncture for fertility??

Hi ladies!!

Have any of you out there tried acupuncture to increase fertility? If so, what's your take on it? Did it help? Would you recommend it?

My husband and I have been ttc for almost 10mo (I know there's lots of you out there trying for longer please go easy on me) with no luck. I have been to my primary care and obgyn a few times and they assure me that everything seems ok. They don't want to start any testing to either of us until we have been trying for at least one full year.

I started acupuncture a few weeks ago, and the woman assisting me is VERY confident in her ability to help me get pregnant. What you guys think?? Thanks in advanced and happy new year to everyone!

Not sure how acupuncture could affect fertility - but to be honest I'm not a huge believer in it to begin with.

I did it with my 3rd ivf cycle. I did 3 months before and during the cycle. It was actually the worst results I had during an ivf cycle. I don't blame the acupuncture for the bad results but it definitely didn't help. I went 3x a week for, 4 months total. At $80 a session it was a total waste
