Do you think there's a such thing as leagues?

So I've been crushing on this guy, but he's popular. I'm not unpopular or anything, but I'm more very independent. I don't like to follow the crowd. So because of that most popular kids don't like me. I've always kind of seen my school as having different groups and the "popular kids" have never liked me. I think this guy does like me, or did in the past idk. I'm attractive, not to toot my own horn, but I'm wondering if he's too out of my league purely based on social standing. I really like who he is. He's got a firey attitude and makes me think which I think is kind of cool. But is it worth it to risk heartbreak and embarrassment?

As an adult I think that leagues are usually based on looks or finances careers whatever. But it's not something that should make a difference if he truly likes you. I was with a guy in my early 20s that was very good looking and worked at a job making good money and owned his own house and two cars and had lots of friends and was basically a jock. I on the other hand had like 2 friends and am ok looking and I was working at Pizza Hut while in college full time. And he basically supported me. We had a very good relationship regardless of what "league" we fell in and we did not see them because we loved each other. It shouldn't matter

Leagues, cliques, social hierarchies....
They are the dumbest things ever. Probably not literally, but at least pretty close.
I think if you like this guy and he likes you, the social circles are worth about as much as a pile of horse poop.

If he rejects you because you aren't in the right social circles (which are a load of bullshit), then he wasn't good enough for you in the first place.
