How much is your 2/3 week old baby drinking every 3/4 hours?

My baby is drinking formula and I think at 2 1/2 weeks old 3 ounces every 3 hours isn't cutting it.

Sometimes they just want to suck on something to soothe them. My son can go to drink 2 to 3 Oz at a time and sometimes he acts like he wants more to drink but then I give him the pacifier and he calms and will eventually fall asleep. I tried making 4 Oz and he didnt even drink it and fell asleep.

3 ounces is actually way more than enough. Remember, your baby's stomach is roughly the size if a golfball, and breastmilk takes 1.5-2 hours to fully digest. For formula, it takes even longer.
