So I'm being induced at almost 39 weeks. My doc said to come in Tues and they will start me on pitocin.

But then she said to come back Wed evening (6-7pm) and we will start the induction and I love an hour away from the hospital.

My question is if anyone has every done this or heard of this? Pitocin is supposed to start labor right? Do you think they might keep me if I make quick progress? Or just send me home anyway?

I was just too excited when she told me we were having a baby by the end of the week to even ask questions.
