My little girl is here

My little girl is here.  I was induced at 6:30 am on 12/30/16 and labored for 15 hours (epidural is amazing!)and was still stuck at 5 cm.  The doctor checked everything and figured out that my hips were too small for me to have her vaginally so we made the decision to go forward with a c-section at 9:40.  They brought me in the OR and she was born at 10:08pm. She was 6 lbs 15 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long.  She is doing great with breastfeeding and I am recovering nicely (section is not that bad once you get up and moving).  We are so in love with her she's worth every pain.
