Need to get myself to a healthy weight for baby making. Weight watchers or slimming world? I have done weight watchers before & it worked really well for me but friends seem to think Slimming world is better.

Neither. I am in the same position with 4 stones to loose so I have cut out chocolate (my biggest enemy/love), bought myself a nutri bullet and started having a fruit smoothie for breakfast and dinner (lunch ) and then a healthy meal for tea  (evening meal). I am also walking briskly 3km per day. I have set myself a target of loosing 2 stones by 1st July.

I'd say slimming world. It doesn't deprive you of what you crave, like unhealthy foods and whatnot but you can have them in moderation (15 syns a day, say a packet of your favourite crisps are say 6 syns). 
It's all about food optimising, you can have really nice tasty yet healthy syn free meals!
But you have to exercise too as well to really feel the benefits. If I was having a good week, eating well and exercising (even if it was just cleaning the whole house) I would lose 6 pounds in a week, yet I would still eat stuff like a chocolate bar during that week and other various bits. 
I don't know much about weight watchers but I do know it's not as good as slimming world. When I went to SW I met people who had lost 12 stone in a year! It's really amazing and inspiring.

I haven't seen slimming world, but weight watchers is definitely one of the more sustainable ones. I'd just try to learn how to make the foods yourself and avoid the prepackaged stuff if possible.  It's the reliance on their packaged stuff that makes it easier to slip into bad habits in my opinion.
