6w U/S no baby?

Has anyone ever experienced this and everything turned out ok? My hcg levels did rise.

Based on lmp at my first ultrasound I was 6+3 but the gestational sac was measuring 5+2 and only had a yolk sack. My doctor said my beta levels and ultrasound match up perfectly so there's nothing to be concerned with. I just ovulated late. Same thing happened with my daughter. I go in for a follow up ultrasound in a couple days (exactly 1 week to the day of my first ultrasound). I wouldn't worry too much unless the doctor is worried.

Are you having a follow up scan? My first scan was just a sac at 5w6d and the sonographer said it was just too early, my dates turned out to be completely wrong. The following week baby appeared with a hb. Did your doctor say anything? Try not to stress until you have a follow up scan to confirm or talk to your doctor. 🙂
