How do I carry my baby?

My car seat doesn't have a carrying handle. I see most peoples do and that's how they carry their baby from the car to the house. Is it weird that my car seat doesn't have that? How do I carry baby out of hospital and out of car to the house etc. Is this a weird thing to be worried about? Obiviously this is my first baby lol.

Did you buy a carrier carseat or a grow with me carseat ??? If you have a grow with me you'll have to carry baby by hand out the hospital and into the house

As everyone's saying- if it's a convertible it'll stay in your car. That's all I wanted originally, by my husband insisted we get an infant seat that can carry the baby as well. When I have her with the convertible seat I will wear her with my lillebaby carrier! Totally recommend one to you! It has the newborn insert already so you don't have to keep investing for different sizes of your baby like many other carriers.

You shouldn't have gotten that car seat. What brand is it? It doesn't have directions in it to tell you how to use it? I would be SO LOST 😂

Can you take a picture of it, it may be a convertible car seat that is not meant to be carried but left in the car at all times.

I have one of those but ended up buying a cheap infant capsule as well. Most times, hospitals won't let you leave without baby in a capsule. It's also just convenient to have, as well as the convertible grow with me ones usually are a little too big for new borns even though they say they can fit new borns.
