Any idea what meds I can take for head cold?

I have such a bad head cold. Any idea what I can take to clear my nasal congestion? ??

Neti Pot. Its a draining system with salt water that clears your head. Its about $5 and you can find it at any grocery store or pharmacy.

I have a list of things you can take, but you aren't supposed to take anything unless you are in the second trimester. But since you're in this group, I would assume you are.

My doctor suggested sudafed and nasal spray, she also said mucinex would be fine!

I have bad nasal problems going on right now and am taking Robitussin. On my approved list. No nasal sprays were allowed.

I'm in third trimester and dr gave me permission to take mucinex, robitussin, and sudafed.  I only took the robitussin to help with my cough at night because I couldn't sleep otherwise.  It stinks...takes way longer to shake a cold while pregnant!

I had a sinus infection and the doctor told me to take sudafed but I had to be at least in my second trimester.

Its depends a how far along you are. But i tried not to take anything over the counter and my doctor said it was safe to use saline spray and I also used a warm vaporizer with a few drops of peppermint oil. It worked like a charm. I was so congested I couldnt breathe out of either one of my nostrils. I also use breathe right strips to help keep my nose open while I was sleeping w the vaporizer. I know once you are past 20 weeks you can have Sudafed, I just chose not to take it. Good luck! I hope you feel better!

I've used a nasal spray. I think that's pretty much all you can use lol plus Vicks if that'll help
