Hell yes. He has every right to defend himself. Also, if she wants to hit like a man, she'd better be willing to take it. You can't claim equality and then suddenly take it back when it no longer favors you. Like that's bs.

When it comes to things like self defense it's supposed to be equal to the force being given. For example, if a little old lady (110 soaking wet & about 5 feet tall) starts pounding on a 6 foot tall football player, he can't open a can of whoop ass on her. He can try to settle her down, incapacitate her, etc. in the same way, if a woman starts punching a man & he has the means to disengage her without knocking her out, he should do that. at least, that's the legal/law enforcement side, "reasonable amount of force". Now if she came in with a gun or other deadly weapon then of course he can equate that force.

Self defense is okay and sometimes necessary, regardless of gender. Learn to protect yourself and don't be the aggressor.

He shouldn't beat a woman but he can definitely defend himself in sort of way. Men are stronger than women. A women can hit a man but cannot, I'm assuming, beat him to death. A man can. But yes, he should defend himself.
