Birth Story

So my Blessing was born on December 19, 2016 @ 5:36p.m.  He was 7lbs 3oz. 20inches long and soooooo handsome (I may be a little partial) 🤗 Named after his father Jarrett Kendall Jones Jr. His original birthdate was to be January 1st. Because I had gestational diabetes my obgyn was not going to let me go past Dec 27th. Well Jr must have known. Lol. As I was cooking breakfast before church on Sunday December 18th around 10:30 I felt like I had a little accident and pottied on myself. Good thing I was just turning the fire off on my eggs. Lol. I went to the restroom cleaned myself off but I continued to wet myself. I put a lightweight pad on and went about my routine. I ate, then got ready for church. well I had no pain but decided to wait and go to hospital later that evening. I got there around 6:30 and once admitted I was told that I had to wait until the next morning to get orders from my obgyn to start pitocin since I wasn't having contractions on my own. Well long story short 😜. At 4cm I got IV drugs and when they didn't help at 5cm I got the epidural. Not even five min later I went from 5cm to 10and was ready to push. 30min later my prince was here.
