Have your prenatal vitamins made you sick to your stomach?

I'm not pregnant but started taking prenatals vitamins about a week ago to prepare my body. I've noticed the past 3 nights (I take my pill at 8pm, after dinner) I wake up around 10-11 with terrible stomach pains and nausea. Is this normal? I'm attributing it the pills bc I didn't take them one night in between and was absolutely fine.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "after dinner"-- I recommend taking it WITH dinner. I've never had issues using that strategy (& I even have to take an extra iron pill).

Yep. I have to eat with my pill, otherwise I get super sick. In the first trimester it didn't matter if I took it with food or not, so I just took the folic acid which didn't make me sick, so there's always that option.
