How do you feel about the flu vaccination?

For me personally, I don't get the flu shot. But I get every other vaccination. I don't think that the flu vaccination is important, and a lot of people that I know that have gotten it have actually gotten a bad case of the flu from it. What are your views on it?

I get the flu shot every year. I have never gotten the flu. I get sick all the time. I'm a walking virus lol so I get every vaccination available. But you don't get sick from the shot. That's impossible. It's a dead virus so you can't get it from the shot.

You don't get the flu from it, you just get a bad cold afterwards. The shot wears your immune system down my rheumetologist actually explained it to me. I have a very weak immune system so they always try to get me to do the flu shot but it is the one vaccination I do not get. I didn't get it this fall and I have been the healthiest I have been in years, with a shitty I'm immune system.

I usually get the flu around the same time every year, started getting flu shots a few years back. Haven't gotten the flu since and i'm perfectly healthy

I never had a flu shot or the flu. I've been exposed to the virus multiple times. I guess people will say I'm lucky or whatnot. But I see no point in me personally getting the shot. For others, do as you wish. I've heard the flu is awful so if others want to protect themselves then let them.

I get the flu shot because I have a child now, didnt get it before. However, the strain that is in the current vaccine is not the same strain that's going around this year.
