does anyone else's midwives seem useless??

My gps midwife is fine but since 21 weeks on n off I've been losing mucus plug and felt tightening in my uterus and pressure down below I'm now only 23 weeks and it's happened again so I called them and told me "don't worry unless u leak fluid or have contractions just relax" I feel like this is happening too early and I'm worried about it and they don't seem bothered and won't see me! I have an appointment next week with my personal midwife so if nothing happens in between I am thinking of asking her to check me over but I'm annoyed by this!
