Debating if it's time for another addition!

Me and my SO have been discussing lately if we should start trying to have a baby since my daughter from a previous relationship is going to be 8 already but I'm still up in the air some days I want too but other days I'm confused ! I really want too but then I start to get nervous because it's like starting all over again! I need some advice ! Anyone ?..
