Six Week Pregnancy Appointment?

Has anyone had their first pregnancy appointment at six weeks instead of eight? If so, what all did they do? Were you able to see anything? Were you able to hear a heartbeat?
The reason they are having me come in at six weeks instead of eight is because I had an ectopic last year that resulted in the removal of my Fallopian tube.

Prayers and baby dust you have a healthy pregnancy. I went in at 6 bc i was bleeding they can't see anything on an actual ultrasound as it is to early so they may do a trans ultrasound which is when they stick a ultra sound looking stick vaginally and see if there is a sack. But in your case they are prolly just checking that it's implanted into your uterus. Happy healthy nine months

I went in last Friday. I was supposed to be 5w6d, but was measuring a little ahead. They were able to do an ultrasound vaginally, and we were able to see the heartbeat. Couldn't really see much else though, except this little blob there. But the baby at 6 weeks is still really tiny. And they don't look baby-ish still either.M

Same. I went in at 6w just to make sure baby was where it belonged. Still exciting.

I was in at 5w & 6w (high risk), & this was pretty much what I saw too.

I had an early appt at 6.5 weeks. Had an ultrasound, saw AND heard the heartbeat. It's so nice to have some reassurance early after losses.

We had a 6 week "confirmation" appointment. All we did was blood work to confirm I was pregnant, and went over the Do's and Don'ts with our doctor. No ultrasound. I had my first ultrasound at 10 weeks and did blood work for genetic screening.

They have to do an ultrasound because of my last pregnancy. Blood work won't confirm baby is where it's supposed to be 🙁

Seeing & hearing anything after what I went through is beyond comforting & exciting for sure!
