So a while ago I posted,  My brother slid into a ditch in the rain and got stuck in the mud. He found a dog in the ditch when he got out. Milo couldn't walk at first or barely even stand really. These before pictures don't even show how disgusting he was. I have never seen so many fleas on a dog in my life. We bathed him, cut his hair and then bathed him again and picked off dead fleas one by one. The bathtub was covered. He had poop mangled in his fur, he had thorns and stickers embedded in his paws. We got that taken care of, he had an infected toenail type thing going on that was causing him ALOT of pain. Took him to the vet and we thought he was gonna have to be put down. The vet pulled out the infected toenail and said he had a good quality of life, he has cataracts so he's kinda blind and the only thing causing him pain at this point is his teeth. So getting his teeth taken care of is next (he doesn't have a lot of teeth left) he can walk now, climb stairs, run, wag his whole butt around. He memorizes the house so he doesn't run into things, the only real issue is if you move something and he doesn't know that it is there he'll run into it. So everyone keeps crap out the way for milo lol He's a happy little old man. This was the saddest thing I've ever seen and I'm glad this little guy caught a second chance. Edit he lives with my mom and I haven't been able to take a recent picture of him. But everytime I go over there he's all about me and he's doing so good. Cute side note: my 14 yr old sister is his main girl, he waits for her at the door everyday until she gets home from school and he sleeps in her room. Follows her everywhere.
