Melatonin and Prozac?

Question

I was wondering if any of you take Melatonin pills and Prozac for anxiety/ depression/etc. 
I'm having trouble sleeping, and I read Melatonin is super good for that but my mom is worried it will mess up my Prozac

Any help?

Melatonin is the hormone that makes you fall asleep 
So it'll be good to take to regulate your sleep

But in saying this you definitely need to talk to your psychiatrist if you're on anti depressants because they may not want you to take anything while you're on them 
But I really can't see a problem with it considering melatonin is produced naturally in the body (some just don't produce enough or if you're like me your produce it at the wrong time) but it may impact the way the anti depressants work
