spot on my nipple

Hi , I'm 17 and today I was going to get into the shower and saw a spot on my nipple it was kind of red and I touched it and puss came out and it hurt when I touched it , I'm not sure if I'm being silly or not but I thought I'd ask on here to see if anyone thinks I should tell someone about it thanks. Incase anyone asks I use this app to track my periods and not to help me get pregnant
