Is it true that the chances of having a miscarriage decreases once you've heard your baby(s) heartbeat?

My gyno said the chances of a miscarriage drop to around 3% after a heartbeat is seen or heard on an ultrasound.

Yes that is true. The chances alone drop in a healthy woman to less than 3% after week 8.

I asked my dr this today! Once you see heartbeat chances are less than 5% once ou see heartbeat last 12 weeks chances are less then 1%

Okay good to know I saw baby's heartbeat at 5w6d had a previous miscarriage so still nervous! Don't go back till the end of the month and I will be almost 10 weeks
