washing hands before touching baby!

My husband and I agreed last night that people need to wash hands or use sanitizer prior to touching or holding our daughter (who will be here in a couple of weeks) also NO kissing on her face. I mentioned this to a friend and she thought it was a little outrageous. Adults get sick enough, babies have weakened immune systems - I don't want a sick baby if I can prevent it!
