LH surge with no AF??

Question

I was having a ton of ovulation symptoms so I took an opk and got a positive. I was so excited that my cycle may be returning. Well here we are 19 days later and there is no AF and all negative pregnancy tests. For a week now I've been having period like cramps along with other PMS symptoms. I'm so confused. Any thoughts?

Also, the opk I used was digital so I couldn't have misread it. Maybe an LH surge for another reason?

I had this and instead of AF I got positive opk again. Also I've had very AF symptoms but not actually had AF which I believe is like a phantom AF. Then I had positive opk shortly after. Then a week after that I had a light AF. I think your body retries ovulation if it didn't quite manage it before. And the hormones and lining wasn't quite right for a proper AF. So I think try to interpret what your body is trying to do and be aware you might start ovulation again so keep "trying" and do opks
