free breast pump through insurance?

anyone have VA Medicaid with optima & got a free breast pump? I'm not sure how to go about getting one or even calling to see if I can get one...

Go to aeroflow.com and fill out the request with them. They will deal with your insurance and call you to pick out a pump. (look at different ones to see what you might like better. I recommend the spectra if you can get that one) the pump will arrive in 3 days

Medicaid DOES cover breast pumps.. Just call your insurance company.. They may offer other incentives as well (for attending your prenatal apts)..

I have different insurance but I called my insurance company and asked. They directed me to a medical supply company that I ordered it through and entered my insurance information on their website. There were about 5 options to pick from. Mine only came after I delivered, and it was sent automatically. I placed the orderweeks before and it was pending/holding until the birth. I could be wrong but I imagine most insurance companies use a medical supply company to distribute them. Good luck!

I don't think medicaid covers breast pumps. I tried and was denied. So if not, try your wic office.
