Two guys one decision

So I've been single for almost a year. I got out of a 3 year relationship and have been dating around. I've been talking to a guy for a couple months now and he asked to be bf gf right before Christmas. I said yes then freaked out and took it back yes I know... I just wasn't ready to jump into a relationship and didn't know if it was the right one to get into cuz I'm not Head over heels. Since then I met a guy and I'm so into him but don't wanna be two clingy so I've been waiting for him to text me. So the question is should I drop the first guy even though I do t know this other guy well or just see where both of them go?
