I really don't understand Christianity

I don't understand how people are able to believe this stuff. It intrigues me very much though. I want someone to explain to me how it's possible that all this stuff occurred such as (but not limited to):
-a talking snake
-a virgin birth
-samsons magic hair
-blood into wine
-people rising from the dead
-creation of man/women from dirt
-Noah's ark
Also, if I were to say that I belief in Greek mythology, I would be, more or less, laughed at. That being said, many people don't even know Christianity is Greek mythology. In 1280 BC (before Christianity and Jesus-that came 1500 years later), the "Book of the Dead" was written. In this book was Horus. Now Horus was:
-born on December 25
-born to a virgin mother (Isis)
-birth marked by a bright star in the sky
-his birth was announced by angels
-born in a cave in a manger (at this time caves were used as stables)
-his birth was witnessed by 3 wise men bearing gifts
-during his first few years Herut (another character) tried to have Horus murdered (Herod tried to have Jesus murdered during infancy)
-both Horus and Jesus were baptized at 30
-both Horus and Jesus had 12 disciples
-both walked on water and healed the sick
-Horus was crucified on a cross between two thieves.
Now there are many other similarlities, but you are all more than capable of looking those up. So my question, aimed at Christian's, is, why do you believe what you do? How am I/how are you to believe something that is so refuted by science?
