How was your experience as a biracial child growing up in a white neighborhood?

My fiance lives in a upscale all white neighborhood. I am moving in soon and usually stay with him on weekends. I have yet to have any problems over the 2 years we have been together. The neighbors usually wave and go on their way. We don't have in depth conversations. These neighborhoods have the best schools, and it's so beautiful. I like it!!!!! I wonder if my kids are going to have a rough time. Will they feel pressure to assimmulate? What was your experience???
