PLEASE CONSIDER AN IUD
Ladies! As many of you may know republicans have control of the house, senate and presidency now. Unfortunately their first priority is to take away healthcare from millions of people and strip Medicare payments from planned parenthood rather than focus on important issues (like Russia hacking our country..you know whatever)...
With this said- if you are a candidate for the IUD I HIGHLY recommend getting one as they are likely to soon no longer be covered by insurance and prices for birth control other than condoms will likely go up since insurance companies will no longer be required to cover them. So if you don't want a baby for the next 6-12 years, I would recommend a visit to your local PP and get a fancy new device to cover you until we have people who decide to trust us with our bodies back in office.

Aight y'all- I'm political in nature so it was bound to come out. I work for a labor union. My dream job is working for EMILY's List. I'm not apologizing for expressing my displeasure with the incoming administration (he has bragged about sexual assault so he can go to hell).
BUT I'm telling you, insurance companies are only required to cover birth control because of the ACA, which is about to be repealed without a replacement( this is a fact). Speaker of the house also announced today that removing funding from planned parenthood will be in the reconciliation bill they will use to repeal the ACA (also a fact).
If you voted for all republicans, cool you have that right as an American. But if you don't have an extra couple hundred dollars a month (I do not), I'm just saying a long acting contraception is the way to go and you should do it soon because it is no longer covered.
