Brief history: I have seldomly been affected by hormonal moodswings or depression. I have heavy periods and bad cramping.

I got the Mirena IUD installed, yes, installed 😉, at my 6 week post pardum appointment.

Recently: i have been feeling frustrated for the past week and a half, increasingly down, annoyed at the smalles things, husband has been driving me crazy, cried on my way to work because I miss my baby already (now 5 months), and just generally out of sorts.

Could this excessively emotional time be because of the mirena? Or a weird version of a delayed post pardum depression? Has anyone gotten a mirena removed because of emotional reasons?
