My son is 1 week old and I feel like he sleeps 90% of the day! It's good bc I can get some sleep, but just a little worried he sleeps a lot. I wake him to breastfeed every 1-2 hours unless it's nighttime, he will wake up crying on his own to eat. I'm breastfeeding exclusively but he will spend 6-7min on each breast and that seems to satisfy him. He is gaining weight fine and doctor isn't concerned as long as he is gaining weight. I just feel like I hardly ever see his eyes open!
