when are you announcing ?

This is our first baby and we just found out we're pregnant on the 2nd! We're due sept 10th and soooo excited! I have pcos and am aware of higher miscarriage rates so we want to wait but we also really wanna tell everyone!!! We have an 8 week ultrasound at the end of January, and if all goes well a 12 week to follow. So do we wait till after the 12 week? My sil's birthday falls on our tenth week and we were thinking of telling just her then, is that too early ? Should we just wait till after 12 weeks ?? Thanks!

My opinion might differ from others. But here it goes.
So I had a miscarriage in September. We found out I was pregnant right before our wedding, so we announced very early. It seemed like the perfect time!
While I hated un-telling people, it was extremely comforting to have so many people I could turn to for emotional support. I'm STILL grieving, even though I'm pregnant again.
I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow, And though I'm not going around announcing it to everyone already like I did last time, I've told our family and close friends. I simply can't imagine going though another loss without a group of people for support.

Going to tell my bbf next weekend (will be 5 wks) only because i know she's going to ask and plus i love her. Planning on telling our immediate family around 12 wks and the rest around 14wks.

I'm only 5 weeks but I've told some of our immediate family. My thought is if something does happen where we would lose this pregnancy,  I would want their support and would tell them anyways. We have told a few of our friends. My husband keeps blabbing to everyone. But we are waiting on telling my mom until around Valentine's Day. To make sure that we have an ultrasound and to mike sure the pregnancy looks healthy.

I have pcos also watch your diet..are u on metformin? I am doc said it helps limit miscarriages. Well tell around 10 wks. I always show early.  Congrats

I am 5 w 3 days, I have told my sister and one friend ( hubby too of course) . I keep thinking everyone knows but of course they don't. Ours was a lovely surprise as we have been trying for our second baby for the last year ( fell pregnant first  month last time). Luckily everyone has stopped asking me because of the time taken this time round. We are having a scan at 8 weeks so I might tell a few friends and family then.
