Double whammy at my 30 weeks ultrasound

Nicole
So my pregnancy has been by the book boring healthy couldn't ask for a better experience kind. Well that has all changed. I've been diagnosed with gestational diabetes and I found out I have a total placent previa. They are going to give it a few more weeks to see if it moves but it looks like I am most likely going to have a c-section. Obviously all I want is a healthy baby but a part of me is very sad at the thought of my birth experience being taken away from me including my choice in all this. I know how dangerous placenta previa is and that a natural birth is not a possibility. But this will be my only child so I'm probably never going to be able to experience labor or contractions or anything like that. As for the GD I have to monitor my blood sugar 4 times a day and keep track of my eating habits. I'm just really down right now.
