I currently live in Pennsylvania and despise the cold. My job has advancement opportunities becoming available in Florida and I was selected as a candidate. Due to relocating, I could continue telecommuting for about 7 months but would need to be set up and officially moved in and ready to start by August of this year. I've visited Florida but that was 9 years ago. I have a 3 year old and will have a 6 month old. The areas I would have to report to for 2 weekly meetings and train other employees for my old position. (other than that I will still be work from home) Tampa, Orlando, or Jacksonville. I was thinking I would make a trip in April to check the areas out for sure as the offer(s) will be given in May. I'm excited for this opportunity but I want to be sure it would be good for my family as well. I have the option to post out to a a different position after 12 months if it doesn't suit us. But I'd really like to learn more about the area in the meantime 😊
