Is it a coincidence ?!

When my SO and I are together my cycles are regular. But if he leave for any significant amount of time my cycle completely changes up. I end up taking like a million pregnancy tests and symptoms come out of the woodwork, but no babies....yet!
We joke about it lol. But is this normal?! It's only happened with him? Because before him my AF was like perfect clockwork.

I thought it was just me! 
I'm anemic, so I've always been irregular. I can go 2-3 months, sometimes even more without a period. But as soon as I moved in with the hubby, my period regulated down to the day. It's always on time. He leaves and it goes back go going crazy. It's weird. What does he have to do with my iron levels?? Lol
