When your bestfriend Decides to get married the day of your Baby Shower

My bestfriend of 8/9 years tells me today that she is getting married the day of my baby shower. Mind you, she knew the date, seen the invites when you ordered them and helped you plan them. All because her fiancé didn't want to wait and doesn't think my baby shower is important enough. This is my first and most likely only baby. Yet I'm not allowed to be upset. I also paid for my hall two months ago, bought the supplies, sent out the invites , arranged everything right down to catering. Yet I'm suppose to change my date when they aren't even booked for a hall yet. They're just going to the court house and having a party somewhere . I'm sorry, but I think bringing life into this world is better than marrying a man with a drinking problem and lives off my bestfriend and her family.
