help mamas! advice needed!

I am 7 weeks 4 days pregnant yesterday after noon I went to the emergency room I was spotting brown. Had a sonogram baby had a heartbeat of 156 blood tests came back normal. Last night around 4 am I felt a gush I got up and sure enough bright red blood I sat on the toilet and I huge blood clot came out size of 2 quarters. Called my doctor this morning and all he did was send me to get my hcg level checked and put me on complete bed rest and told me to return on Monday for follow up blood work. It's 5 pm and I'm not bleeding red it's more of brown and only when I pee and wipe not so much on the panty liner. Help any suggestions I'm a total wreck has this happened to anyone before.
