Thank you bags for hospital nurses?

Question

Do you plan on giving thank you bags or treats to the staff at the hospital that will help deliver your baby?  I thought this was a nice idea to do when I go into labor. What are your thoughts for your labor and delivery team?

You could just order an edible arrangement instead. Or something along those lines.

Nurses/CNAs love snacks! Lol 
But if they don't know you, it's safer in our minds to go with bought items food items instead of homemade.

I'm terrible with this stuff but my husband is amazing. We did it with both and especially with my son. He was in NICU and the nurses were all amazing. We bought them coffee, treats and cards more than once. I think it's a sweet gesture but also not necessary.  You could do a card, gift cards, gift baskets... that kind of stuff

I usually buy them a thank you card with picture of baby in there. I steer away from anything of value so they don't get in trouble. Some hospital are anal about stuff like that.

We brought donuts with from a local bakery for my induction, the nurses were sooo happy!! They said, "give this girl the room with the good view!" 😂

My dad used to be a nurse. I asked him if I should do it and he told me that was weird lol but that could be because he's a guy. I was just really nice and thankful to my nurses.

Travel lotion for their Pocket or purse 
Chapstick
Pens without caps (nice pens)
Granola bar 
Candy bar 
Gum
And a couple other misc snack on things
