Definitely a high chair. Being consistent helps to make associations that will be important in the next few months. We want to make a clear routine that the high chair and table is where we eat with a bib, spoon, bowl.

High chair strapped to chair is the one we use for my bub and it's work just great. We have dinner at the same time so that he understand family mealtime 😊😍

We have used high chairs, bumbo, floor chair and a "booster"' chair that attaches to kitchen chair which grows with them. Each has their merit and meets specific needs, what ever it may be at the time. We recently found a Svan Signet (cue the jaw dropping to the floor) on super sale at a consignment sale. Best purchase I ever made. You can customize every part of the chair to your child creating a relaxing and ideal mealtime for everyone.  Save your money and get one fantastic chair! There is also the Tripp Trapp that is similar. Just life changing, can't live without it, on the lookout for another!

I use the boon high chair. It can be low enough for me to feed my lm on the couch or high enough to feed him at the table. Plus it's super easy to clean
