Are Hairy Arms Ok?

I've always had quite hairy arms (not just you're average peach fuzz) and I've always been kind of embarrassed by it. A few weeks ago my sister convinced me to shave my arms, I was already considering some form of hair removal so I thought, why not? I loved having smooth arms but then I decided to grow the hair back out, now my arms are just as hairy as before but the hair is just shorter. I don't really want to be shaving my arms for the rest of my life, I just wanted to know what you're take on hairy arms are and if you think they're ok.
