uterus not shrank back to normal after birth!?

Question

Saw a midwife the other day and she wanted to look at my tummy and was pushing down on it and I have some pains when she pushes down and she told me that my uterus has not gone down which should of gone after 2 weeks of giving birth and told me I should go hospital if it doesn't go down what do you guys think ? Why isn't it going down :(

Definitely listen to her. Idk why but if it's not doing what it should, you need to be checked

I would definitely get checked out for sure. Are you breastfeeding? It helps make the uterus contract and shrink

Go to the hospital. It's very important that it goes down. Did you have a home birth? My hospital won't even release you until it goes down.
