Has it ever happen to one of you being late, test was BFN and retest was BFP?

So I'm 4 days late, tired, dizzy, nauseous , sore boobs and BBT still high. I tested yesterday and it was negative , I've never been this late... So I'm wondering , has it ever happen to anyone to be late and test but the test is negative and retest later (days or different brand of test) and end up pregnant? 😔 I'm confused here. Please help.
