Simple items: chargers, phone, camera, carseat, going home outfit, brush hair tie (if you have long hair), diaper bag (take home all the free things you can home expecially the things for you) extra clothes what ever you are comfortable in, pillow (both you and the hubby) lotion, slip on shoes

So this is my second baby and my first I took way to much lol. For baby I'll bring 3 onesies, 3 footie pjs, 3 pairs of socks, 2 hats, 2 scratch mittens, binkie, and the going home outfit. OH AND of course the car seat lol. If you plan to bottle feed bring 2 bottles so the baby can get use to only those nipples to avoid confusion.

For me I'll bring 3 maternity dresses (loose fitting) nursing bras atleast 2, my hygiene stuff for showering and also teeth lol. Hair stuff and if I want makeup lol. Underwear for when I leave. Baggy pants cause I don't want my momma diaper showing lmao. Chargers camera and I can't think of the rest lol. But I want to be out as soon as possible because I have another baby and hubs is army so I need to get home to care for my other child to!

Comfy pajamas for after delivery.  Dark colored.  Headphones.  A book.  Makeup and perfume(scent recognition ). Hair ties and hairbrush.  Tooth brush and tooth paste.  My own body wash shampoo and conditioner.  Fuzzy slippers. Coming home outfit for me and baby. Don't forget baby's socks and hat.  Nivea cream for dry skin _ it's good to see your legs and feet again but man when you see the condition lol! Chopstick.  Your lips get dry during labor.

I have my hospital bag mostly packed it will have;
 a robe, PJs, slippers, a comfy home outfit, sample size toiletries, lotion, brush, hair ties and headband, slippers, travel toothbrush and tooth paste, nursing pads, nursing bra, a bottle and sample of formula in case I end up not making milk or baby is jaundice like his sister, 2 sleepers, 2 body suits, baby's home outfit, scratch mittens, a groom kit, booties, blanket I made him, granola bars, boxers and shirt for daddy, chargers energy drink for daddy, my fav tea bags, travel tub of coconut oil, ChapStick, towel and a nursing cover

I brought for me: travel size of bathroom stuff, nursing pads, a book (will be bringing my laptop this time cause hospital has free wifi), loose Tshirt and my sweat pants and clothes to go home in. I have some junky undies I'm bringing too. I'm actually uncomfortable in the mesh ones.

For baby: literally car seat, going home outfit, and a blanket.

To me less is more and if I need something, my bf will go home and get it

For the baby u will only really use one to 2 outfits(keep it simple like a sleeper)
But u will want to bring different sizes, pack like a premie outfit, a newborn size, and just in case they are chunky 0-3mnths. You never know what will fit better at first. 
And like everyone else said your personal stuff, a comfy pair of clothes, and I only wore a tank top until I was ready to leave(literally that's all I wore), I pretty much was in as less clothes as I could be, for one U won't need pants(until u go
Home), because you will pee and bleed your undies and pad a lot(so use the hospital ones until ur ready to go home). You won't be up walking around much after you are suppose to be resting as much as possible.

Hair brush and tie, tooth brush and tooth paste, nightie, and loose going home outfit. Phone chargers. For baby just a going home outfit and car seat. The hospital provides blankets, breast pumps, diapers and wipes as well as toiletries so I am not over packing this time!
