How do I tell my mom I'm not a virgin?

My mom and I have been very close ever since I was little and she always told me if I was going to have sex to tell her when I'm ready and stuff like that. But I lost my virginity in November and I still have yet to tell her. I'm just afraid that it's going to disappoint her and I also don't know how to bring it up. How should I tell her?

Just tell her. Its better to tell her now then years down the road. Especially if you got pregnant and she finds out you never Told her.  Im extremely close with my mom also she just made me a doctors anointment to get me on birth control and she bought me condoms

My mom said the same thing, but I never told her. It's my personal life. She only knew when I had the pregnancy scare once. My period was 2 months late working on 3 months, also I had other symptoms.
Even after that, I still never told her anything about my sex life. We now talk about it, only because I have a baby, also because I'm an adult and not a teen anymore.
It's up to you if you want to tell her, just casually say it too. Like "hey mom, I want you to know I've lost my virginity to (so and so)".

Why do you need to tell her? Do need medical help and you're still a minor? Did you get pregnant? Did it have a huge effect on you (positive or negative)?

If it's no to all of the above, then you don't need to tell her. That just isn't part of your relationship. You aren't withholding anything.

If you've always been close just tell her!! I waited a few weeks to tell my mom. I thought it was gonna be super awkward and disappointing but after I told her I really eased up! It's not as bad as it seems
