Hsg test and blocked tubes.... Help/advice
Ok ladies! I recently started to go to a RE in hopes I would get some answers as to why it have not had any luck on getting pregnant. I went to my reg dr and she told me to calm down and I was too stressed out. Well I went begin her back bc I knew something was just not right. I had been experiencing different length cycles all year long and have been off bc for well over a year. I ovulate anywhere between day 11 and day 28 Of my cycle. Soooo I started my first round with my RE . This is my base line testing and all if my reg testin to see if everything is working properly. Well I had 10 follicles in each ovary in the beg. Doc suggested I take pregnitutde daily. They checked my cervix and uterine lining and that was all good. Well yesterday I went to have my hsg test and man was it painful. They couldn't get the water inwithout me screaming obscenities. Well sorry to say the test was abruptly stopped ( sorry not sorry that really hurt; it felt like someone was stabbing me in my stomach with a shovel) an me dr suggested I now get surgery. Unfortunately I have to wait till next month for this procedure.
When I was finished with the doc. She said "I guess we found out where the problem is. Your tubes are blocked. See now I've read in some places that ony one is blocked or maybe both. I don't think she could tell which one cause my test was literally 30 seconds. So I'm assuming both.
I guess my question to you all is ... Has anyone had surgery regarding this and was it successful in conception. I'm scheduled to have a lapryoscopy and I have to be put out. Any thoughts or news would be super helpful. Reading about this online is not helping at all.
Thanks girls. This process is really a roller coaster ride. It's so scary and crazy but yet I want a baby more than anything right now.
