Baby w/cold & vomiting formula

Tiffany
My hubby has been sick with a cold (cough, contested kinda thing) of course my girl picked it up as well!! It started Wed night, as she puked up about an oz of her before bed bottle but I thought she just choked a little....the next morning she puked up her fruit purée and her entire bottle and had a slight cough. Off to the docs we went. Diagnosed as a cold possible stomach bug and was told the usual for babies with colds. Also recommended to hold back bottles and give pedialyte in its place for 24hours. Which we did. Next day her cough was getting worse and her nose is runny. I reintroduced the formula and she vomited up one bottle. And kept the others down. I was still offering pedialyte as extra liquids. Today she just kept 4oz of her morning formula down. She's eating her purées I offer and she's give or take with pedialyte.
I realize milk must be super yucky to drink when your sick and know it produces more mucus.....it's obviously not sitting well with her tummy AT ALL. Is pedialyte enough for her to get by on for a few days?! I have never given her water as I hear mix reviews on it and I'm not a fan of offering juice , plus it gives her bad gas and cramps.
She's keeping everything but her formula (gentlease) down. (FYI NO TEMP at all for the past 4 days either so I know she's "not that sick" and she's also in great spirits and her sleeping patterns haven't changed from being sick)
Input & advice??? Doc said give it 5-7 days and if it's not getting better to come back (her cough has gotten worse but I think it's just the cold breaking up. No wheezing and it's fairly dry cough)
