Feeling really down

My depression has hit an all time low tonight. I just caved and texted the guy who didn't want to be with me that I was in love with. The response was "this is his fiancee and you need to leave him alone and stop texting him." All I ever did was love him and try to make him happy. Why does he get to be happy while I'm still sad and alone? Do I not deserve to be happy?
