Breastfeeding

With my first child I didn't care to try breastfeeding because no one really encouraged me, well with this baby I really wanted to do it until I joined all these Facebook groups and they make it look absolutely miserable! I know it's not a walk in the park but they make it seem like it's the hardest, most uncomfortable thing ever that has all these problems that come with it! Is this true? Is it really just going to be a bad experience? :(
