birth control or condom?

So I'm 15 and I'm a virgin and recently I have been getting close to this one guy. He's a virgin too but he's super sexual towards me. I think we are going to have sex sometime soon and I want to be prepared. Should I get birth control or just use condoms?

Both! Dude, birth control is great for preventing pregnancy (when you use it the right way because if it's a pill, you can't miss a dose and you have to take it at the same time everyday or you end up with my daughter lol) but it's always better to be safe than sorry and wear a condom to prevent an STD or STI. If it were me, I wouldn't care if he says he's a virgin. It's better safe than sorry. Safe sex all the way!

Honestly both. If the condom breaks, you have the backup pill and if the pill is faulty then you have the condom. My boyfriend and I get annoyed with condoms sometimes so we go without one once in a while but we always make sure to be prepared. Unless you want a baby now, you should do all you can to prevent one :)

Always use a condom. Especially now because you need to protect yourself from a STDs and pregnancy. 
However, being on birth control at the same time is still a good idea.
I wouldn't suggest having condomless sex with a guy that isn't so close to you, even if you're on birth control.

condom are 99% safe so use that. i recommend being on BC for at least a month before unprotected sex but use a condom because of std's

Both but look at the consequences of sex. STDs are very real and can be contracted other ways other then intercourse. Also pregnancy even with condoms or birth control it's very possible. If you aren't ready for a kid you probably should think a little more about if you should be having sex.

go ahead and get on birth control if you can. if you're parents are picky about it, you can go to your local planned parenthood or clinic and get pills for free or next to nothing, and it's totally confidental. i'm actually going tomorrow, because i want to talk over bc options with an expert. i haven't before because my mom is totally against bc, even though i'm 19.. but my boyfriend doesn't like condoms, which resulted in me buying plan b last week. bc is so much better, and if a condom breaks or if you don't have one, you really have nothing to worry about so long as you're faithfully taking the pill. and remember it can be sketchy to go without condoms because of stds. it's just not worth the risk. so always try to use condoms unless you know you and your partner are std-free!
